When a new employee joins your company, the first few weeks are crucial in ensuring that they fit in well and feel supported by you. You'll need to provide them with all of the necessary information, training, and knowledge to accomplish their jobs well without overloading them.
It doesn't have to be that way with a
well-defined and well-executed induction procedure. An induction is designed to
make your new employee feel welcomed and valued while also preparing them to be
a productive and positive contribution to your company.
An induction is the process of
acquainting new employees with your company, assisting them in settling in, and
providing them with the information they need to become a valuable team member.
The Importance of Induction
The most important thing to remember
about inductions is that they benefit both you and your employee. The new hire
is happy and settled, which means they're less inclined to look for a new job,
they're happier and more settled, and you're less likely to lose them to a
competitor
